QAZTECH experts note that the President of the RK, in his address, emphasized the importance of implementing global IT standards to reliably protect data and systems. These standards represent a set of proven practices that help create and maintain a high level of security in the digital environment.

"The relevance of this topic is confirmed by global statistics. There has been a 30% increase in the number of cyberattacks compared to last year, leading to significant financial losses. In 2023, global losses from cybercrime amounted to about 8 trillion US dollars. In 2024, the number of software vulnerabilities also increased by 25%" commented Evgeniy Pitolin, co-chair of the QAZTECH Cybersecurity Committee.

Global standards are important for businesses, especially in the context of globalization when companies operate in international markets and interact with partners worldwide. These standards help companies comply with the laws and requirements of different countries, as well as effectively manage risks and vulnerabilities, reducing the likelihood of incidents and allowing for a quick response to threats.

Evgeniy Pitolin, co-chair of the QAZTECH Information Security Committee, noted that the implementation of international standards strengthens trust from clients and partners. Organizations that adhere to recognized global standards demonstrate their commitment to a high level of security and data protection, which can become a competitive advantage. Clients and partners, knowing that their data is securely protected, will be more willing to work with such organizations.
