Temirtau, Kazakhstan — The QAZTECH Alliance of Technology Companies held a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Qarmet", Andrey Lavrentiev, known for his projects in reviving and developing Kazakhstani enterprises, as well as nurturing and supporting Kazakhstani specialists.
Andrey Lavrentiev discussed the challenges and key tasks in the development of the country's largest metallurgical enterprise, Qarmet. The company has embarked on a course of technological modernization, increased efficiency and environmental sustainability of production, ensuring production safety, and occupational safety in accordance with international standards. A significant role in these plans is assigned to the implementation of advanced technologies, primarily those created in Kazakhstan.
"We see significant potential to improve our production process, and it is very important for us to involve domestic science and innovation, successful Kazakhstani technology companies. We are aiming to collaborate with the QAZTECH Technology Companies Alliance and are open to advanced and creative technologies," noted A. Lavrentiev.
In turn, the technological companies that are members of the Alliance presented their own advanced technologies in the fields of industrial robotization, labor safety, digital data management, virtual and augmented reality for training production personnel, automated production management systems, warehouse management, and much more.
